I'm originally from Montana and North Dakota, and a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. I have a deep connection to the region and the clinicians practicing there. One of my favorite parts of medicine is that you keep learning by doing, and that process is so much better with subspecialty colleagues who enjoy teaching and thinking through cases together. I started Doctor2Doctor to make that kind of collaborative learning more accessible.

Early in my career, I supported nonprofit organizations, including grant writing and community outreach. My work with Doctor2Doctor lets me continue that work in a new setting. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be for people to access specialist care. It is a challenge that touches many lives, and in one way or another, most of us can relate to it. I am hopeful that this emerging model of learning and collaboration in medicine can help bridge some of those gaps.
My work spans specialist recruitment, marketing and outreach, grant writing support, and day-to-day operations for the platform.
The Doctor2Doctor Neurology + Psychiatry network continues to grow. Today the network includes 130 specialists, pretty evenly split between adult and pediatric neurology and psychiatry. About half have completed additional sub-specialty fellowship training, bringing expertise across a broad range of areas.
For me, the network includes many familiar names. Friends and colleagues I have known and trusted for years, alongside outstanding new specialists I am excited to get to know through the program.
Our specialists join for a variety of reasons. Some are early in their careers and want an engaging way to collaborate with peers and take on additional work. Others are further along, or in semi-retirement, and are looking for a meaningful way to stay active in the field while mentoring the next generation of clinicians. Our specialists have other primary positions, and the flexible setup lets them take part alongside that work.
Below, you can learn more about the interests and training across this network.
